Our Booster courses are intensive, one-week summer courses designed to quickly improve specific English skills through creative and immersive experiences. Your child will gain confidence and fluency, all from the comfort of your home.
Does your child enjoy video games? Our "Speak & Build!" course turns screen time into useful English practice. We use a free online game, similar to Minecraft, for engaging and effective learning.
How it works: Each lesson is split. The first part focuses on new language, and the second involves using that language directly in the game
Your child won't just play; they'll use English to:
Give and understand instructions.
Talk about and design their dream home.
Work with others on virtual builds.
Learn words for homes, design, and directions.
Practise comparing things and speaking about the past and future.
"Speak & Build!" makes screen time helpful, turning a love for gaming into better English.
Is your child interested in cooking? Our "Speak & Cook!" course combines cooking fun with focused English learning. This online course helps students improve their language skills through food and cooking.
How it works: Each 90-minute lesson is split. The first 45 minutes focus on new language. The next 45 minutes involve using that language while cooking and baking in the kitchen.
Your child won't just cook; they'll use English to:
Describe food flavours, textures, and cooking methods.
Follow and give recipe instructions.
Talk about ingredients and kitchen tools.
Practise speaking confidently while making simple meals.
"Speak & Cook!" focuses on food and cooking, to help children get better at English. For example from our previous 'English Lessons from the Kitchen' course here
Age: Students aged 9 years and older.
Level: Students at A1 level and up for Speak & Build and A2 level and up for Speak & Cook.
Group Size: 3-5 students per group, ensuring personalised attention.
Duration: 60 minutes for Speak & Build and 90 minutes for Speak & Cook.
When: 5 days, Monday to Friday in July and August (dates to be confirmed).
Price: €12 per hour (60 minutes).
